     ROYAL ENCLAVE

DILWAR KHANS’S MOSQUE

It was earliest indo-islamic building around 1405 A.D.
-use-royal members of family
-plan-central court enclosed by colonnade
-pillars-in hindu style
-ceiling-in hindu style
-niches-in western style
-doors-richly ornamented



NAHAR JHAROKHA  - tiger balcony
It was built in time of jahangir when he was staying in mandu.
Because of an effigy of a tiger which once supported it ,was called nahar jharokha.

-use-for the kings to show himself up to his subjects
        -it was a practice which is historically found in
          mughal emperors.
