Hindola mahal – swinging palace-because 
of its sloping sides.
-Built- ghiyathu’d-din reign
-date-15th century
-Plan-‘T’ shaped + massive wall
-hall-big-6 arched openings on both sides+pillars
-windows –beautifuly carved—use-to admit light and air
-roofs-massive+ vaulted-not in present
-walls(side)- 2.7 m thick
-buttressess-to support wall-indirectly counteract the huge ceiling load.
-Steps-main one are meant for kings
          -sloping meant for royal ladies to go up in   
           palanquin or on pony or on elephant scince it was
           populary known as hathi-chadhao.
-they reduced ornamentation to minimum as compared to other buildings which used many coloured tiles..thought it was majestic in appearance.
